Video to DVD

Why should you convert your tape media to DVD? The tapes will deteriorate over time due to how they are stored, the original quality of the tapes, how many times they have been viewed, how good the equipment is used for playback and hundreds of other reasons. Tapes break, delaminate and can become totally ruined. Cassettes left in the sun or very high temperatures can crack or melt.

Why should you convert to DVD and not Blu-Ray?   We believe that the time is not yet right to do this economically. When the cost of Blu-Ray discs and playback equipment drops, then it will be time. Conversion from DVD to Blu-Ray will be quicker and easier than from tape to DVD due to the technologies involved.
